Bluewater Mayor Satisified With MTO Response To Highway Requests

The Mayor of Bluewater says he was very pleased with a meeting with Ministry of Transportation officials at the AMO Conference in Windsor.

Tyler Hessel explains the were two requests of the ministry.

One is to provide as much help as possible to the Hensall District Co-op in a highway access to Hwy. 4 to accommodate future expansion. The other is to work with the municipality on gateway signage for Bayfield and Hensall where Hwy. 21 and Hwy. 4 enter and leave the villages.

Hessel believes both requests were well received and in the case of the Hensall District Co-op, MTO officials said they would continue to keep the communication lines open, so they wouldn't have to do any more studies than they're already doing.
