Two Stratford Residents Face Child Porn Charges

Two Stratford residents face charges after the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit searched three homes in Stratford.

Waterloo Regional Police Technological Crime Unit and Stratford Police joined the search which turned up computer devices containing images of child sexual abuse.

The devices will undergo forensic analysis.

Police have charged 47-year-old Robert Herman Wissink, and a 16-year-old male, with possession of child pornography and making child pornography available

The 47-year-old is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on August 29, 2016.

The 16-year-old is scheduled to appear in Youth Court in the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 9, 2016.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
