Summerfolk Being Hailed As A Success

Organizers are hailing another successful Summerfolk over the weekend. Georgian Bay Folk Society president Tyler Beckett says final figures aren't in yet but attendance was solid.

"My sense is that we had a lot of people on site all weekend long. The weather really held out for us and it got the local people out to see us too," says Beckett.

He says it's the 700 hundred volunteers that really make Summerfolk such a success.

Over fifty musical acts performed with Bruce Cockburn headlining Saturday night and Natalie MacMaster Sunday night.
