Walking For Mental Health Awareness

A woman with ties to Kincardine is walking from Peterborough to Kincardine to raise awareness of mental health.

Marnie Kellarm, 45, reached the Hanover last night and says she battled with her own challenges.

Kellar lives in Peterborough but has family in Kincardine.

Today, Kellar plans to walk Hwy. 4 to Walkerton and then complete her journey along Hwy. 9 to Kincardine.

Kellar will be donating any proceeds to Canadian Mental Health Association's in Grey-Bruce, Simcoe and Peterborough.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
