Shotguns and Crossbows Stolen In Huron County

A number of weapons were stolen from a home South of Brucefield this week.

The theft occurred from a shed at residence on Centennial Road Monday.

Police say the home owner heard a vehicle leaving his residence about 4 am, and then discovered his Jeep Liberty was stolen.

He also realized 3 shot guns and 3 crossbows had been stolen.

Stolen Vehicle:

A grey 2008 Jeep Liberty with Ontario Licence plates CAEW823

Stolen Firearms:

Browning BPS Shotgun 20 gauge

Massberg 538 – 12 gauge Shotgun

22 Coey Shotgun

Stolen Crossbows:

Excalibur Crossbow

Horton 335 Crossbow

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
