Owen Sound Youths Arrested For Theft, Vandalism At Construction Site

Owen Sound police have arrested two youths after break-ins Wednesday night at an east side construction site.

Several items were stolen from construction trailers, and one culprit defecated on the floor of an office.

Police say site security camera video footage helped them identify two young males known to police.

Two Owen Sound boys aged 16 and 12 were arrested within hours and the majority of the stolen property was recovered.

The pair face a number of charges in connection with the crime including failure to comply with probation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
