Knechtel Food Market To Close After All

It appears Lucknow will lose it's grocery store after all.

Knechtel Food Market posted on their Facebook page today that negotiations with the landlord has ultimately failed, after looking like a solution was near.

Brian and Kathy Knechtel were fighting to acquire rights to the premises with the current landlords, but could not come to what they thought were fair terms to purchase the stakeholders share in the property. They landlords also wanted coverage of all legal costs to this point. The majority of shareholders say they are not open to further negotiations.

Knechtel has just six days to vacate the premises, as the landlords will change the locks on September 1.
