Guns, Ammo Stolen In Grey Highlands

Police are investigating after two guns were stolen during a break and enter in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The Ontario Provincial Police say sometime between August 8 and August 26, an unknown number of suspects broke in to a trailer on a recreational property on Grey Rd. 12.

A black Ruger 10-22 rifle with a flash suppressor and holographic sight, along with a Stevens model 200, .223 bolt action rifle with Tasco 6x24 scope were stolen. Ammunition was also taken during the break-in.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
