Traffic To Flow Again On Mount Forest Bridge

The Constable Rick Hopkins Bridge in Mount Forest is once again open to traffic.

Work to rehabilitate the bridge began back in May of this year through provincial and federal funding, which included replacement of hand rails, deck resurfacing, new deck waterproofing, new sidewalk and LED street lights.

The work is ongoing and is expected to wrap up sometime near the end of October meaning there may be occasional traffic delays.

A grand re-opening is slated to happen once all of the work is complete.
