Serious Injuries In Crash Near Meaford

One person is in hospital with life threatening injuries after a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle near Meaford.

Police responded to the crash last night around 8:40pm on Hwy. 26 at 7th Line.

Investigators say the motorcycle was travelling east and the passenger vehicle was headed west. When the vehicle attempted to make a left hand turn, it collide with the motorcycle.

Hwy. 26 near Meaford was closed for a time but has since reopened.

Names haven't been released as the investigation continues.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
