Libro Donates $10,000 To Wingham Hospital Redevelopment

A $10,000. donation from Libro Credit Union will support the Wingham and District Hospital's redevelopment campaign.

The Libro Prosperity Fund is part of the credit union's commitment to invest in rural development and revitalization.

Libro Branch Manger Debbie Gammie hosted a "Sharing the Pie" event in honour of the donation last week.

She says this hospital is a vital part of the rural community and the upgrades will help the facility remain a strong community hub and economic driver.

The Libro Owner Reps Committee in Wingham is also planning a week long fundraiser at the branch later this month, culminating with a steak BBQ for the community September 30th.
