Hanover Police Seek Vehicle Involved In Hit-And-Run

Hanover police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run with a pedestrian.

At 6:20am Thursday morning, police responded to a call of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on 10th Ave. near 10th St. A 52-year-old Hanover man was struck by a southbound vehicle, and the vehicle stopped briefly, and was last seen turning east on 10th St. The pedestrian was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Hanover hospital.

The vehicle is a medium/dark blue car, with a broken bug deflector as a result of the collision.

Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
