Arrest Made In Mount Forest Break Ins

Police have charged a man in connection with break-ins at Mount Forest businesses.

Between August 13 and September 7, police investigated multiple break and enters at Wellington Highland RV and Home Hardware on Main St. in Mount Forest.

Police executed a search warrant at an apartment in Mount Forest on Wednesday where stolen property and suspected marijuana was seized.

Gordon Kostal, 35, of Mount Forest faces charges including two counts of break and enter, two counts of theft under $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of marijuana over 30 g.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
