Hanover Police Make Arrest In Hit And Run

Hanover police have now charged a 23-year-old Hanover man with failing to remain or report an accident, after a vehicle collided with a pedestrian yesterday.

Police say a 52-year-old Hanover resident was struck by a vehicle at about 6:20am Thursday on 10th Ave. near 10th St. in Hanover.

The motorist stopped briefly, but then drove away.

Another motorist stopped and provided assistance to the victim.

The man was transported to hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries, before being released.

Police were looking for a small blue car with a damaged bug deflector.

Today, a driver turned himself into police.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
