Break In At Stratford TSC

Two men face break and enter chargers after alarms went off at the TSC store in Stratford.

The early morning call Saturday was answered by Stratford Police and and Perth County OPP.

One suspect was arrested after a short chase on foot while another was found in a nearby field by the Stratford Police Canine Unit.

Christopher Rothernel, 37, and Christophery Surette, 42, both of Stratford, each face charges.

Rothernel faces charges of “break, enter a place – commit indictable offence”, "possession break in instruments” and “possession of Methamphetamine”, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Surette faces charges of “break, enter a place – commit indictable offence” and "possession break in instruments”.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
