'Save Rockwood Terrace' Rally in Durham Wednesday

Another community rally is planned this week to support keeping long-term-care beds in Durham.

The 'Save Rockwood Terrace' group is calling on residents and businesses to participate in a rally from 9:00 to 10:00 Wednesday morning, adjacent to the Rockwood Terrace property.

Grey County's Social Services Committee is scheduled to meet at Rockwood at 10:00 that morning for their September meeting. Participants are urged to walking in the area, or bringing a chair and sitting in it as councillors and senior staff drive in for their meeting.

The 'Save Rockwood Terrace' group represents residents and families, service clubs, seniors groups, as well as business and professional people concerned about the possible loss of the current 100 long term beds at Rockwood Terrace.
