Goderich Council Asks County To Reconsider Cancelling A.C.P.P.

Goderich council has passed a motion asking Huron County council to reconsider its decision to end the Advanced Care Paramedics program.

The request came from Bluewater council.

Goderich Mayor Kevin Morrison voted against the motion but explained that he originally voted in favour of keeping the program at County council, and still supports the program.

Morrison said he was not comfortable with being directed by Goderich council how to vote at the County level.

The mayor points out the motion passed by Goderich council does not ask the county to reverse its earlier decision, but only to reconsider its decision.
