Huron County Working On Collection Reorganization Project

Huron County's director of cultural services presented a Collection Reorganization Project report to county council recently.

Meighan Wark says the report is something staff at the Huron County Museum have been working on for several months, and in evaluating all of their processes and procedures relating to their collections. Wark says it's a very comprehensive report, and identified 22 issues ranging from house-keeping issues to procedures to the space itself.

Wark says the next step is to address the issues and at upcoming meetings she'll be bringing action reports to council on how that's moving forward, as well as time lines for addressing the issues and advising council of any budget implications.
