Woman Rescued from Crevice in Georgian Bluffs

A 34-year-old Owen Sound woman was seriously injured after falling down a 30-foot crevice in Georgian Bluffs last Wednesday.

Provincial Police say just before 2-am September 14th, the woman and a 34-year-old man had been drinking while atop Skinner's Bluff, off Colpoy's Range Road when the woman fell.

Bruce County EMS and Bruce Peninsula Fire Department rescued the woman and took her to a local hospital.

The male was charged with breaching probation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
