Kincardine Area Hospice Information Meeting Tonight

A meeting in Kincardine will share information with residents about the work of the Huron Shores Hospice Steering Committee.

The committee wants to create a hospice in the community to provide a home-like setting where adults and children with life-limiting illnesses receive end of life care.

Residents can have their questions answered, and potential volunteers can explore ways to support the initiative.

Speakers will address the elements of palliative and hospice care, and talk about plans for the local facility.

Currently the closest hospice is in Owen Sound

The meeting starts at 7pm at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
