North Huron Approves Draft Bylaw For Development Charges

North Huron Council has approved new numbers in its updated development charges bylaw for the municipality.

After coming out with a draft of the new bylaw, they held a public meeting yesterday to debate the proposed numbers.

The new development charges cover a number of different municipal projects, and new housing. The new proposed charge for a single detached home is set at $5,104.38.

Council voted unanimously to approve the numbers presented in the draft bylaw.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
