Huron County Refused To Reopen Advanced Care Paramedic Vote

Huron County council has voted against a motion to rescind it's earlier motion to cancel the Advanced Care Paramedic Program.

Councillor Bernie MacLellan maintained no new information had come forward so there was no reason to re-open the discussion.

Only three of 15 councillors voted Wednesday in favour of rescinding the original motion.

A number of lower tier municipal councils had asked Huron County council to reconsider.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
