It's an "Amazing Race-style" competition in which teams of two people race on foot around Wingham to complete various physical and mental challenges.

It's scheduled for Saturday, October 1st and it's open to all ages and fitness levels.

There is a fee of $60 for a team of two, and all pledges and proceeds go toward the purchase of new Hi-Lo Beds for the in-patient unit at the Wingham and District Hospital.

The registation deadline is September 27.

To sign up, you can register at www.wdhfoundation.ca or click here.

The team from Britespan Building Systems is challenging other companies to register a team and take them on. They are the defending champions.

Prizes are sponsored by Howick Mutual Insurance Company.  There is also a prize for the team that's the dirtiest when crossing the finish line.
