Aluminum Pipes And Trailer Stolen In Perth East

A Perth East farmer is missing a manure-spreading system.

The property owner northwest of Sebringville reported the theft of aluminum pipes, end clamps, and a trailer to Perth County OPP this week.

Police say it appears someone used a farm tractor or a heavy duty truck to tow away the trailer loaded with the aluminum pipes.  There were about 80 sections of 30 ft long, 6 inch diameter pipe on the trailer. The pipes were originally used for irrigation, and are now used for spreading manure.

The value of the stolen pipes and trailer is estimated at $15,000.

Anyone having information on the whereabouts of the trailer or the pipes is encouraged to contact the Perth County OPP, or John Nyenhuis at 519-301-9009.
