Sugar Kings Beat Bombers

Kyle Soper's goal in the second period stood as the game winner as the Elmira Sugar Kings topped the Brampton Bombers 4-1.

Brampton opened the scoring in the first half of the first period and Elmira's Matt Murray tied it up just over three minutes later.

Soper was the only player to score in the second period. Josh Slegers scored the insurance goal for Elmira. Jacob Black chipped in one more just past the midway point of the final frame.

The Sugar Kings out shot the Bombers 44-29. Tyler Mazzocato earned the win with 28 saves. Elmira is in the middle of the GOJHL's Midwestern Conference at 4-2.
