Waterloo Man Killed In Ultralight Crash In Puslinch Township

Wellington County OPP and the Transportation Safety Board continue an investigation into an ultralight plane crash that killed the pilot.

Guelph-Wellington EMS, members of area fire departments, and the OPP were called to the crash site southeast of Guelph around 3:45 Saturday afternoon.

The lone occupant of the aircraft was pronounced dead at the scene in Puslinch Township.

The pilot has been identified as 63-year-old Alfred Brunger of Waterloo.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
