Missing Methadone in Owen Sound

The Owen Sound Police Service is asking for help from the public in finding a quantity of prescription methadone.

A methadone patient contacted police Monday to report that a 100 millilitre unit bottle of the liquid medicine was lost during the weekend.

It's a bottle about the size of a juice box, and has a child-proof lid.

A small dose of this drug can be dangerous to children, and it can also be dangerous to adults if a full dose is taken.

If located, please contact the Owen Sound Police Service.
