Vehicle Owners In Hanover Urged To Lock Up

There's a note of caution today from the Hanover Police Service.

Officers are reminding vehicle owners to make sure their cars and trucks are locked, and make sure items of value are removed.

There's been a series of thefts from parked vehicles in Hanover.  In several cases, vehicle windows have been smashed to get access to valuables inside.

These thefts have been occurring during the daytime and overnight hours, and police say they appear to be random.

If anyone in Hanover observes suspicious behaviour in or around parked vehicles, they are asked to contact the Hanover Police Service right away.
