Huron County Bus Driver Killed In Rollover North Of London

A Huron County woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal school bus crash Tuesday, north of London in Middlesex Centre.

Police responded to the bus crash around 9:15am and determined that the bus was travelling west on Twelve Mile Rd. when it caught the shoulder of the road.  The bus, which was not carrying any students, then veered across the road, struck a tree and rolled onto its passenger side.

The bus driver was pronounced dead at the scene.  She has been identified as 63-year-old Pamela Walper of South Huron.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators assisted with the investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
