Minto Presents Cheques From Mayor's Charity Golf Tournament

Three community groups came away from Minto Council Tuesday with cheques for $3,500.

The money was raised during the sixth annual Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament this summer, hosted by Minto Mayor George Bridge.

Each year community groups are invited to apply for a share of the proceeds.

Benefiting this year is the Minto Refugee Settlement Committee, The First Palmerston Scout Group and Minto Minor Ball.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
