More Homes Being Built In Clifford

14 serviced lots in Clifford owned by the Town of Minto have sold out.

Minto took ownership of the lots on former railroad property on Ann St. about two years ago.

Mayor George Bridge says the sales have generated about $280,000 over the past two years as well as new property tax revenue.

As well as creating building lots, the purchase provides space for a trail running south from Clifford to Greenbush.

Clifford still has about 16 unserviced lots on the same former rail property.
