Germania Raffle Benefits Wellington Charities

The Helping Hands Raffle at the Minto Fire Department in Harriston raised over $27,000 for local charities.

The fundraiser was sponsored by Germania Mutual Insurance.

The Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village, Palmerston and District Hospital and Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest shared in the proceeds of the raffle.

Germania decided to purchase over $18,000 in prizes for the raffle instead of of buying token gifts to hand out at the IPM.

Minto Fire declined any proceeds from the raffle.
