New President For Mount Forest District Chamber of Commerce

David Sharpe is the new president of the Mount Forest and District Chamber of Commerce.

He replaces Dave Ford who comes off two years as president.

Sharpe says it is important the Chamber continues to be a strong voice for its membership. He cited core services of the Chamber such as networking opportunities, the annual Awards of Excellence, and the annual Wellington North Guide.

Sharpe has been active in the Chamber for several years, including serving as treasurer and chair of the very successful Mount Forest Fireworks Festival.

The Annual General Meeting held at the Mount Forest Legion Tuesday heard that the Chamber is in solid financial shape and the membership is stable.
