UPDATE: North Perth Westfield Elementary School To Officially Open

Invited guests will get a chance to see the new North Perth Westfield Elementary School Friday during an official opening ceremony.

North Perth Westfield Elementary opened to students last month.

Invited guests include the director of education and the chair of the Avon Maitland District School Board, the mayor of North Perth, the MPP for Perth-Wellington, and the school's architect.

Thousands of members of the public had their chance to see the new school earlier this fall.

The school is an amalgamation of the former Wallace Public School and Listowel Central Public School.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
