Conners Tied for 85th at Colombia Open

A rough start to the Colombia Classic for Listowel's Corey Conners.

Conners shot a 3-over 74 in his opening round and is tied for 85th.

The 16th hole gave Conners the most trouble where he had a double bogey. Conner also bogeyed the 10th and 18th holes on the back nine. Conners did better on the front nine, shooting birdies on the second and sixth holes. He bogeyed the fifth hole.

American Nathan Lashely and Colombia's Nicolas Echavarria share the lead at 4-under 67.

Play resumes today. The first round was suspended due to darkness.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
