No Foul Play Suspected in Death of Meaford Woman

Provincial police say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a Meaford woman on Wednesday.

Grey County OPP were called after an unresponsive female was found in the water on the northeast side of the Berry Street and Sykes Street North Bridge just before 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.

The victim, identified as 28-year-old Tiffany Victoria Dean of Meaford, was taken to hospital where medical staff attempted to revive her but to no avail.

She was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Police say no further details can be released due to the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
