Perth Teen Pinned By Tractor Remains In Hospital

An 18-year-old Perth South man remains in hospital after he was pinned underneath an overturned tractor.

Perth County OPP, paramedics and St. Marys Fire personnel were called to a farm on Line 15 about 11:30am on Saturday.

The man was conscious and treated at the scene by paramedics, before he was transported to a London hospital by air ambulance for further treatment.

Officers says the teen was pulling large cement blocks with the tractor, when the tractor suddenly rose up into the air, the operator fell off, and the tractor toppled onto the man.

Police say the man's injuries are non-life threatening.
