Shoppers Asked To 'Stuff The Truck' In Huron County

This Saturday marks the beginning of the fourth annual Stuff The Truck Food Drive by Huron County paramedics.

Over the next four Saturdays, paramedics will park an ambulance at a selected supermarket in the County, and ask shoppers to donate non-perishable food and other grocery products.

All the donated items are taken to the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre before being shared with local food banks.

Dean's ValuMart in Wingham is the first stop, this Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Next Saturday, there will be an ambulance parked at Hansen's Independent in Exeter.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
