Woman Killed in Crash Near Bluevale Sunday

A woman from Waterloo has been identified as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash late Sunday afternoon near Bluevale.

Huron OPP report that a Honda Fit travelling west on Amberley Road, left the road, entered a ditch, and struck the attached garage of a residence on the south side of the road, just east of Bluevale.

The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 67-year-old Eugenia Koszycki of Waterloo. No one in the home was injured.

A section of Amberley Road was closed until almost midnight for the investigation.

The OPP are asking anyone who may have seen the grey coloured Honda Fit prior to the collision, to contact them. (1-888-310-1122)

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
