Owen Sound Police Crime Prevention Plan Includes Community Partners

Owen Sound Police Service is marking Ontario Crime Prevention Week to ensure the city remains a safe and healthy place to live.

Constable Craig Peddle says police partnerships with community leaders, youth, businesses and government can help prevent crime.

Peddle points to the new Community Safety Mural in downtown Owen Sound that brought together volunteers, merchants, schools, students, the media and police.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
