Four-Vehicle Crash Sends Drivers To Hospital In Owen Sound

Three people had to be taken to hospital following a four-vehicle crash in Owen Sound.

The Owen Sound Police Service says on Monday around 11:45am, a 48-year-old Owen Sound woman driving a Mazda sedan was travelling south along Eddie Sargent Pkwy. near Kelso Beach, when she experienced a medical issue and swerved into oncoming traffic.

The Mazda collided with a northbound sedan driven by a 63-year-old Owen Sound resident. Another northbound sedan driven by a 73-year-old Owen Sound woman was unable to avoid the crash and struck the vehicles. The Mazda came to a rest after striking an parked, unoccupied utility van.

The three drivers were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries

The road was not closed as a result of a the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
