Goderich Salt Festival Named 'Business Of The Year'

The Goderich Salt Festival has been named Business of the Year.

The festival received the award at the recent Huron Chamber of Commerce: Goderich, Central and North Huron Spirit of Success Awards Dinner, an annual event that recognizes local business achievements.

Nine other awards were handed out, selected by a panel of three judges, who had a total of 43 nominations.

The dinner was at the White Carnation in Holmesville, with 135 people attending.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
