North Perth Open House On Recreational Services

North Perth Council is hosting a municipal recreation open house on Wednesday.

The municipality is inviting local residents to offer comments and make suggestions on local recreational services.

CAO Kriss Snell says that encompasses a wide range of topics.

"All the recreation facilities, including our parks, rec complexes, and community halls can all be part of this," says Snell. "Also programming, what kind of programming we offer through our recreation department can be on the table as well."

Snell says the open house is being held to help draft a plan for the municipality regarding its recreational services.

"The process we're undertaking is a parks and recreation master plan, so we want info from the public on how they'd like to see our future recreation services and parks services planned from the municipality," says Snell.

The open house is at the North Perth Council Chambers this Wednesday from 5pm-7 pm.
