Hensall Investigation Leads To Four Arrests

Four people face charges after an investigation in Hensall Friday.

The investigation began after an assault on Monday that left one man with non-life threatening injuries.

Multiple OPP units, including the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit, were at a Richmond St. S address where officers found a quantity of cannabis marijuana as well as a stolen firearm.

Four people inside the home at the time the warrant was executed and all four were charged with multiple drug and weapons offences.

A 36-year-old man, 36-year-old woman, 29-year-old woman and 23-year-old man, all from Bluewater, face charges.

All four were at a bail hearing Friday in Goderich and have been remanded into custody for another bail hearing on Tuesday.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
