Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance Hosting Public Forums

The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance hosted a public forum at the Seaforth Hospital Monday night.

Alliance President and CEO Andrew Williams says the point of the forum was to get feedback on their services, and try to implement changes based on that feedback.

"Tonight's discussion in Seaforth, as well as the other three upcoming discussions this week, are aimed at discussing partnerships, performance and people, which are three guiding principles that he organization is trying to focus a lot of energy on," he says.

Williams says a big challenge facing the organization, like any other, is funding.

"On the funding side, big big challenge obviously because revenues are not going up at the same rate that expenditures are," he says. "So we're constantly looking at how we're doing what we're doing, and a big part of that is going to be on the partnerships and creating the right relationships within the system."

The HPHA is hosting three more public forums this week, all running from 7pm-9 pm. Tuesday night is in Clinton,  Wednesday is in St. Marys, and Thursday is in Stratford.  The forums all take place at the hospitals.
