Light Freezing Rain Possible

Because of where the temperature will be holding there's a chance for some light freezing rain Wednesday night.

Environment Canada's special statement covers Perth County, northern parts of Wellington County and Grey County.

The forecast is calling for a mix of light snow and rain for the evening, but overnight intermittent freezing rain will drift into the area and last for several hours.

Temperatures are expected to hold steady through the first part of the night then rise after midnight to 1 C.

Untreated surfaces such as roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

And with the mix of snow there could be 2-4 cm accumulation.
