Van Dolder's Donates Windows And Doors To Hospice

Chapman House, a new facility for the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce in Owen Sound, will be another step closer to being finished this weekend.

Van Dolder's Custom Exeteriors donated all of the doors and windows for the new building and will also donate time to install them on Saturday.

Since May of 2013, the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce has been operating from a temporary location, providing end-of- life care to over 320 patients and support for families.

Chapman House is being built entirely through by donation.

With just over a month left in the campaign, 78% of the $4-million target has been raised.

More information on the Build a Home for Hospice Campaign can be found at www.greybrucehospice.com.

"We have been incredibly fortunate to have individuals and organizations donate proceeds to the hospice. From golf tournaments, craft shows, bike rides and more – people have rallied around this project and helped us raise money for construction.   Some of the organizers have a personal connection with the hospice, others simply want to see us move forward," said Executive Director of the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce Scott Lovell.
