Huron County Christmas Bureau Gets Donation Of Toys

Huron County councillors and senior staff had some fun this week while collecting toys for the Huron County Christmas Bureau.

The event was initiated by CAO Brenda Orchard last year and involves senior staff and councillors drawing names and then purchasing a gift for that person that they think they would have liked when they were a child.

The gifts were opened at Wednesday's inaugural session, and when the laughing subsided, the gifts were collected to be delivered to the Christmas Bureau.

Orchard points out there is a very good relationship between council and senior staff and this is a great to build on that relationship while supporting the Huron County Christmas Bureau.
