'Stuff The Cruiser' Heading To Owen Sound

The Owen Sound Police Auxiliary Unit is launching its annual food drive for the Salvation Army food bank.

They will be holding their first Stuff The Cruiser event at the Metro grocery store on 2nd Ave. E Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 9pm, collecting non-perishable food items.

They will be at the Food Basics in Owen Sound next Friday and Saturday from 9am to 3pm, again collecting non perishable food items. Cash donations will also be accepted.

In a news release, the Owen Sound Auxiliary Unit explains that the good work that the Salvation Army does in the community can only continue with support and kindness from the community.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
