UPDATE: Perth Rd. Open North Of Milverton

Perth Rd. 131 is now open north of Milverton following a head-on crash Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before 9:30am and Perth Rd. 131 was closed between Perth Line 80, north to Perth Line 86 until 3:50pm this afternoon.

Police say a mini-van and pick-up truck collided head-on. The driver of the van had to be airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries while the driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital. Police haven't released any names as the investigation continues.

Police are requesting anyone who observed this collision, or the operation of either of these two vehicles prior to this crsah, to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
